Medic Alert Bands and why you should wear one.

Medic Alert bands can be annoying, ugly, pull out your arm hair, twist and flop around and drive you insane.  These are all reasons I never ever use to wear one.

I have been wearing one every day of my life for the past 3 years after I found Road ID.  I have had type 1 for 15 years, driving myself around alone with not one bit of info to the fact I have Diabetes.
ID in your purse or wallet or visor will do you no good if you are thrown from your vehicle or your vehicle is so destroyed nothing can be found to identify you or if you are out walking/biking/whatever.

I am a no frills kind of person and I am very hard on jewelry because I like to get my hands dirty, fix things myself, do the dishes and pull weeds with no gloves on.  Gloves drive me nuts most the time.

Fancy things get broke when I am around.  =D

Go to Road ID to get yourself a Medic Alert band.

I wear the wrist ID slim have the medical alert add on side piece and many many colors of bands.  Bands are only 1.99 each for extras, shipping is 1.99 the metal badge is 19.99 and comes with a real lifetime warranty on the stainless steel badge!

Taken off their website https://www.roadid.com/Common/Faq.aspx:

Are Road IDs guaranteed?
Of course! We even offer a "real" guarantee - you know, like companies used to offer. If you are not satisfied with your order for any reason, you can return it for a full refund or exchange. Additionally, our stainless steel ID carries a lifetime guarantee. That's right, if you are tough enough to wear out our stainless steel, laser engraved Road ID, we will replace it at no charge. We challenge you to destroy them (through natural wear - gunshots and hand grenades don't count).
NOTE: Our lifetime guarantee applies to the stainless steel ID plate only. The bands and straps that they are attached to are not covered for life. We do, however, offer low-cost replacement bands and straps for all of our IDs.

  1. I don't have a medic alert bracelet per say, but I do wear a paracord bracelet with a dog tag with all of my pertinent info on it.
