WELCOME TO TEST ONE DROP

The symptoms of undiagnosed and untreated Type 1 Diabetes and a life-threatening complication called Diabetic Ketoacidosis are often confused with influenza, strep, viral infections, and other common illnesses in children and adults, leaving a trail of tragedy and devastation. Test One Drop is an advocacy group committed to the following mission and vision statements. 

OUR MISSION

Our mission at Test One Drop is to bring awareness about Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) to the general public and the medical communities with the purpose of stopping delayed or missed diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes, which can lead to permanent handicap and death.  ​ ​

OUR VISION

Our vision is that no child or adult will be diagnosed with Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) as a complication of delayed or missed diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes. ​

We invite you join us as we advocate for change, educate the general public and medical communities, and support those who have suffered loss caused by unrecognized Type 1 Diabetes and DKA.
