Can you spare $5 for the life of child this Valentines Day?

No comments:
This Valentines Day can you spare the cost of one rose to make a donation to a coalition of people living with Diabetes who have made part of their Diabetes Advocacy to bring Diabetic supplies to children in other countries who are unable to get the very supplies (test strips & insulin) that will keep them alive?

Without insulin anyone with Type 1 Diabetes will die.

There are no other options with Type 1 Diabetes.  There is no cure.

The cost of one rose $5.00 will provide insulin or test strips for a child with Type 1 Diabetes for one month.

The cost of one dozen roses $60.00 will provide those supplies for one year.

Can you spare a rose?

Spare a Rose - Save a Child

Spare a Rose - Save a Child  You can begin giving donations on Feb 1, 2015

--I know this blog post is a bit ahead of time but I wanted to be sure to give people enough time to hear about it and be able to make a donation to a Diabetic child in need.--

Lack of access to insulin is the most common cause of death for children with diabetes in many countries around the world. In fact, in some parts of the world, the estimated life expectancy of a child who has just developed diabetes could be less than a year. *

This Valentine’s Day our community can continue to help change that.
